Painting Hospitals, Clinics, Doctors Offices & Other Healthcare Facilities

Is it time to repaint your healthcare facility again?

Have you been putting it off because of budget shortfalls? Maybe pre-qualifying of vendors is a hassle you don’t want to face again. Not every painting contractor is qualified to service the Healthcare sector. Your clients are your patients and their comfort is first priority. Institutional work is serious business and the commercial painters doing it need to be both respectful and knowledgeable.

Ecopainting has experience painting hospitals and large medical clinics, as well as servicing the neighbourhood doctor’s office and dental clinic. When it comes to protecting the surfaces, we use durable, low odour, zero VOC coatings. Our painters and managers are uniformed, friendly and professional. They have been trained in customer service and will not interfere with your everyday routine. Every project has a dedicated job manager that will communicate with you daily and keep you updated. For your peace of mind (and ours) we carry all the required insurance and safety certifications.

Whether you need our services during the day or after business hours, our focus is your patients and staff.

Clinics, Medical Offices and other Healthcare Sector Clients

Ecopainting at the Spinal Cord Injury Ontario

Spinal Cord Injury Ontario. We were contacted by the SCI Ontario to paint their offices. SCI Ontario’s mission is “to assist people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence, self reliance and full community participation” The Lyndhurst Centre is located in Leaside. We painted their reception, common areas, kitchen area and most doors and door frames. The products were from Dulux, specifically their zero VOC Lifemaster for walls and their waterbourne Melamine for the doors. The work was done during weekends and two evenings without inconveniencing the staff.
“Hi Karon. Yes everyone loves the new look and how bright and fresh everything is. Please thank all the crew for their hard work. Your team was great to work with, great attention to detail, always on time. Pleasure to work with you” Lynn

The Parkdale Community Health Centre.  The PCHC offers a range of comprehensive primary health care and health promotion programs in the diverse community of Parkdale and Queen Street West. The PCHC contracted Ecopainting to paint their complete interior. The scope of work included painting all clinics, exam rooms and other patient areas. The admin area had most of its offices painted, along with hallways and washrooms. Public areas such as the entrance foyer, common hallways and stairways received fresh coats of paint.

The signifigance of this project was the fact that all the work was performed during business hours. We used Benjamin Moore’s zero VOC Ecospec, which was virtually odourless and allowed for a quick turnaround. The painted rooms were back in use literally within hours. The experience at the Parkdale Community Health Centre allowed us to tackle many similar projects with confidence and field experience.

What Makes Ecopainting a Preferred Vendor for Medical Facilities?

We receive input from our clients on their criteria when looking for healthcare facility painters. They want contractors that have experience working around medical equipment and protect everything from dust and paint. The indoor environment of a healthcare institution is critical to both employee productivity and patient well being. The painting contractor should be both a valuable coatings resource and an experienced project manager. Different surfaces require different coatings. Quick dry enamels, Pre-catalyzed epoxies, non reflective coatings and most of all, value paints to fit into tight budgets.
Ecopainting sources products and materials from major manufacturers such as Benjamin Moore, Dulux and Sherwin Williams. When working with architects and facility managers we make sure to provide the Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for every product specified. When applying the coatings we follow the manufacturer’s recommendation and follow industry (PDCA) standards. We guarantee our labour for two years and sometimes suggest a paint maintenance visit, about one year after project completion. All in all, having all the above qualifications and documentation makes the painting project smooth and trouble free.

Services Provided by Ecopainting

Installation of cornerguards and chair rails. The hallways in health institutions are busy with utility carts, equipment and sometimes wheelchairs and beds. In such high traffic spaces, paint can only do so much to protect the walls and corners. Sometimes our clients ask for better and more durable solutions. We suggest installing corner guards, kick-plates and chair rails to protect the freshly painted surfaces. Installing these protective elements is a good investment that helps prolong the lifecycle of the paint job and saves money in the long run. Our project managers are able to order and install these products as part of the painting project.

Color matching and certified colour consulting services. There are special colour considerations for the medical field. Colour in the workplace is a powerful motivator and the right shade can keep the patients calm. We work with certified colour consultants and have access to the latest colour resources.

Wall repairs and drywall. A busy facility sees a lot of wear and tear and once in a while requires repairs. We accommodate wall repairs and minor carpentry in house, so you don’t have to look for additional vendors.
Other Services: We offer epoxy coatings, and Food Service certified coatings. We can paint Cafeterias and large walk-in coolers. During the warmer weather the exterior crews paint outdoor buildings and even maintain underground parking garages.

Whether it’s time to freshen up some common areas or completely repaint your facility, call on Ecopainting. One of our experienced representatives will meet with you and assess your specific needs. We can discuss some of the solutions to your everyday problems and suggest the best products available. After presenting you with our detailed proposal, we can assure you the best customer experience possible. For your peace of mind, we can put you in touch with some of our existing commercial clients.
